This Return and Refund Policy governs the terms for returns, exchanges, and refunds for apparel and textile products purchased on the Thread Knit website. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms detailed below.

1. Return / Exchange Eligibility 🛍️

We offer returns or exchanges subject to strict conditions regarding product wear and packaging.

A. Initiation Deadline

You must initiate the return or exchange request within 3 calendar days of the confirmed delivery date.

B. Conditions for Return

For your item to be eligible for a return or exchange, it must meet all the following conditions:

  • Unused & Unworn: The item must be unused, unwashed, and unworn. We cannot accept items that show signs of wear, scent, makeup, or damage.
  • Original State: The item must be returned in its original packaging with all original tags, labels, and any accessories in place.
  • Proof of Purchase: You must provide the original receipt or proof of purchase (order number / invoice).

C. Items Not Eligible

The following are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Products marked explicitly as "Final Sale" or deep clearance.
  • Products damaged due to improper care or misuse (failure to follow washing/care instructions).
  • Any item returned without original tags, packaging, or proof of purchase.

2. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Email us immediately at Support@threadknit.com with your Order Number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the request.
  2. Do not send the product back before receiving approval and return instructions from our support team.
  3. Once approved, follow the provided packing and shipping instructions to return the item safely.
Important: Unauthorized returns may be rejected or returned to the sender. Wait for a return authorization from support.

3. Refund Processing & Timeline 💳

  1. After we receive and inspect the returned item for compliance with our eligibility criteria, we will notify you by email regarding approval or rejection of your refund.
  2. If approved, refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
  3. For exchanges or replacements, we aim to dispatch the replacement within 5–7 business days after approval (subject to stock availability).

4. Exceptions & Special Cases

  • If an item is defective or damaged on arrival, please notify us immediately with photos of the defect or damage so we can address it urgently.
  • For hygiene-sensitive products (e.g., undergarments, intimate wear), returns will only be accepted if they meet the strict unused/unwashed condition and original packaging requirements.
  • If you receive the wrong item, we will cover return shipping and expedite a correct replacement where possible.

5. Shipping & Return Costs

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or defective product).
  • If we determine the return was due to our error, we will reimburse reasonable return shipping costs once the return is processed.
  • Any refunds will be adjusted for the original shipping cost if applicable unless otherwise stated in a specific promotion or policy.
